Workplace Inclusion Considerations for Persons with Serious Mental Illness

In this symposium, Professor Baldwin, Professor White, and Dr. Shields offer perspectives of individuals with serious mental illness (SMI), and employers who have supervised workers with SMI, regarding the process of disclosing mental illness at work. The symposium was presented at the annual conference of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (April 2021).

Professor Susanne Bruyère (Director of the K. Lisa Yang and Hock E. Tan Institute on Employment and Disability at Cornell University) chaired the session, and Professor Adrienne Colella (James W. McFarland Distinguished Chair of Business at Tulane University) was the discussant.
