Crisis Response Network
Crisis Response Network (CRN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals by inspiring hope and empowering transformation from hope to health through a continuum of crisis services. Since 2007, CRN has been providing crisis call center services and in that short time, it has helped thousands of individuals and families get connected to the support they need. Their services include:
- A crisis line staffed by trained crisis intervention specialists (800-327-9254)
- A warm line staffed by peers who have dealt with behavioral health issues (602-347-1100)
- A support line for those affected by local and national crisis situations (800-203-2273)
CRN is here for you and ready to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
National Alliance on Mental Illness
NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI provides educational programs in thousands of communities across the United States to help families and individuals who are dealing with serious mental illness get the support and information they need. Services include:
- A help line, available Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., to answer questions about mental health issues (800-950- 6264)
- NAMI Basics, a class for parents and other family caregivers of children and adolescents who have either been diagnosed with a mental health condition or who are experiencing symptoms but have not yet been diagnosed.
- The Family-to-Family program, a class for families and friends of individuals with mental illness designed to facilitate a better understanding of mental illness, increase coping skills and empower participants to become advocates for their family members.

Job Accommodation Network
The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) is the leading source of free, expert, and confidential guidance on workplace accommodations and disability employment issues. JAN consultants offer one-on-one guidance on workplace accommodations, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and related legislation, and self-employment and entrepreneurship options for people with disabilities. Resources include:
- Free consulting services for employers, employees, rehabilitation, and medical professionals, about all aspects of job available Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET. Call 800 526-7234 (voice), 877 781-9403 (TTY), visit askJAN.org for internet chat, or email jan@askjan.org.
- A searchable online accommodation resource (SOAR) that provides information about accommodation options for different types of disabilities, functional limitations, and work functions.
- Publications on accommodations and compliance for more than 100 disabling health conditions, and case studies addressing accommodations issues in various employment settings.
Yang-Tan Institute on Employment and Disability
The Yang-Tan Institute at Cornell University provides consultative services to support organizations in advancing the contributions of people with disabilities and ensuring their full inclusion in the workplace. The Institute’s team of internationally recognized experts is available to assist stakeholders with all aspects of designing, implementing, and evaluating inclusive workplace practices. The Institute offers on-line courses on disability and employment support practices for both human resources professionals and rehabilitation service providers, as well as an online tool for employers to self-assess their progress on workplace disability inclusion, and a personalized toolkit to engage managers and supervisors in implementing an organization's policies and practices around disability inclusiveness.
